20 men & 20 women will meet in a bar lounge or bar restaurant in the city centre. They are paired off at tables for two, and given 4 minutes to get acquainted with each other.
Each is given a card to keep track of the people they meet, and to decide if they would like to get to know the person further.
After each 4 minutes the bell rings. Should you speak to an interesting person and you want to get to know him or her further, mark your card 'friend' or 'love'.
The gentlemen then move on to the next table. This process continues until all the 'couples' have met each other.
A small break is taken in the middle of the event.
At the end of the evening you turn your card in and everyone has chance to mingle further.
You will be notified within two business days by e-mail if you have a Love match or a Friendship match.
What type of people will I meet?
You will meet other singles working in a broad spectrum of fields. Some of the attendees are secretaries, managers, IT professionals, consultants, media..
All these people have a common bond, they want to meet, strike up a conversation and if you both like each other you are free to make further contact.
What if I don’t know what to say?
What works is to be yourself, at first everybody’s a bit nervous but you soon settle down and you will be chatting and exchanging views after a short while.
